Do you think real love can last throughout any distance, or will long distance end most relationships?

i think that real love can survive at any distance, love is what you make it. 

for hundreds of years lovers separated by great distances kept in touch with nothing more than a pencil, paper and a mail or courier service.  in todays world of instant messages, photo blogs and social networks it has become much easier to stay in close contact with those you adore. 

to me the question is not "will long distance end most relationships?" but rather "will most relationships go the distance?" 

this is just an opinion but i feel that it's not the distance that separates lovers that ends a relationship, it is the impatience of humans to feel the touch of their beloved or to hear a lover whisper ones name.  it is our lack of long suffering and self control that ends relationships not the distance.
